Prof. Hatem Galal Said

He has completed fellowship training in Shoulder Arthroscopy in the UK (2005) and Hip Arthroscopy in Germany (2010).

Prof. Hatem Galal Said is a highly regarded expert in the field of Arthroscopy and Trauma

Currently, he leads the Arthroscopy Unit at Assiut University and previously served as Treasurer of SICOT (International Orthopedic Society).

Shoulder Arthroscopy

To treat shoulder problems like Rotator Cuff Tears, Biceps Tendon injuries, Instability of the Shoulder (Bankart Lesion) and SLAP Lesions.

Hip Arthroscopy

To treat Femoro-acetabular Impingement and Labral tears, and other less common causes like benign tumours.

Knee Arthroscopy

Commonly to treat Meniscal tears and Anterior Cruciate Ligament Tears, and sometimes for other ligament injuries of the knee.
